Almost everything on our used lot is certified, and not only the GM vehicles. We certify through CarBravo, which unlike most manufacturer programs can certify a used Ford, Toyota or Honda the same way it certifies a used Sierra. Inspected, warranty backed, recalls completed, and exchangeable within ten days if it turns out to be the wrong vehicle.
Certified is a word a lot of lots use loosely. This is what it means on our inventory, in specifics rather than adjectives.
If the vehicle turns out to be wrong for you, bring it back within 10 days or 500 miles and exchange it for another CarBravo vehicle. Very few used lots anywhere offer this, and no independent lot in this market does.
GM requires every open safety recall to be completed before a CarBravo vehicle is listed or sold. You are not buying somebody else's outstanding recall and finding out later.
Every vehicle goes through a multi-point inspection by GM Certified Service technicians before it carries the certification.
A limited warranty comes with the vehicle rather than being sold to you separately. Terms are below, and we will show you the actual document before you sign.
This is the part most people do not know. CarBravo is not limited to Buick and GMC. A used F-150, Tacoma, Ridgeline or Ram taken in on trade can carry the same certification.
Covered work can be handled at any of roughly 3,800 GM Certified Service centers nationwide, not only at the store you bought from.
CarBravo has two levels, and the second one is the reason a fifteen year old vehicle can still be certified. Most manufacturer programs stop at five or six years.
Up to 10 model years oldUp to 100,000 miles
Newer, lower mileage inventory. This is where most of our certified stock sits, and where you will find recent Sierras, Terrains and traded trucks of other makes.

This tier matters if your budget is the constraint. It means an older vehicle can still be inspected, recall cleared and warranty backed rather than sold to you as-is, which is what most lots do at that age.
Under $20,000 →12 months / 12,000 miles bumper to bumper limited warranty30 days / 1,000 miles limited powertrain coverage
Eligible components covered against unexpected repairs. Ask to see the coverage document for the specific vehicle before you sign, because terms can differ by unit.
Our service department →If you are financing with damaged credit, or buying at the lower end of the market, certification is worth more to you than it is to somebody spending forty thousand.
A surprise repair is how a recovering situation goes backwards. An as-is vehicle with a failed transmission three months in is not just a repair bill, it is a repair bill on top of a car payment, and it is the most common way people end up back where they started. A warranty and a completed inspection are the difference between a bad month and a bad year.
That is also why the BravoBudget tier matters. Fifteen model years and 150,000 miles is well beyond where most certified programs stop, which means the vehicles at the affordable end of our lot can carry the same inspection and coverage as the newer ones rather than being sold with a handshake.
Worth stating plainly because it is unusual. Most franchise dealerships can only certify their own brand: a Ford store certifies Fords, a Toyota store certifies Toyotas, and anything else on the lot gets sold as ordinary used inventory.
CarBravo does not work that way. It certifies across makes, so a trade-in that arrives here wearing somebody else's badge can go through the same inspection and carry the same coverage. In practice that means the used trucks and SUVs on our lot are not a GM section and an as-is section. They are one certified lot.
Sierra and Silverado alongside F-150, Ranger, Ram 1500, Tacoma, Tundra, Frontier, Titan, Ridgeline and Gladiator.
Terrain, Acadia and Enclave alongside whatever comes in on trade, from RAV4 and CR-V upward.
Sedans, hatchbacks and coupes across makes, which is where a lot of the under $20,000 inventory sits.
Certification is per vehicle, not automatic. Call (219) 246-4505 and ask whether the specific unit you are looking at is certified and which tier.

Certification is per vehicle. Call before you drive over and we will tell you what is on the ground, which tier it falls under, and what the coverage actually says.
Our online inventory shows vehicles across the Currie Motors group, not only the ones standing here. CarBravo certification applies to what is in stock on our lot, and it is the program that can certify any make rather than only its own. Call (219) 246-4505 and we will tell you what is physically here and how it is certified. Certification tiers, warranty terms and exchange conditions vary by vehicle; ask to see the coverage document before you sign.
